An assignment for an Architectural Technology course utilizing Grasshopper and its plugins. First, I played around with Grasshopper to see what kinds of complex designs I could come up with. After settling on a twisting tower with a voronoi façade, I started to play around with Karamba, a structural analysis plugin, and Ladybug, a heating and cooling analysis plugin. With these in place, I used Octopus to generate 3 designs that fit different criteria. One is great for heating, another is great for cooling, and the third is good for both. All 3 of them are structurally sound according to Karamba.
